It all started in 2008.  I was driving home from work.  After another exhausting day at the office, I was half-asleep, my stomach was in knots, and I felt like crap.

I was driving over the same bridge I drove across everyday.  And to be honest – most days I thought about jerking the wheel and driving off the edge…

But earlier that day, my friend Steve gave me a time management and productivity course he started.  I’d never been big on time management stuff… I thought it was stupid.  But I was in such a dark place then, I was desperate for something to change.

When I popped in the CD and the guy started talking, I forgot all about jerking the steering wheel that day.

I wanted to make sure Eben wasn’t some kind of crazy dude so… I revisited my bookshelf of business, self-help and health books.  I found out Eben wasn’t the only Millionaire who thought the morning was the best time to invest in yourself.

In fact, Richard Branson when asked what was the number one thing he did to be so productive and he replied “Workout every morning”…

At first, I didn’t realize what was going on… it’s kind of like growing a plant. You water it daily and don’t notice much. But then one day you realize how beautiful and big it is.
